About this role
We are hiring a Cook for a casual dining restaurant in Indiranagar serving North and South Indian cuisine. Role & Responsibilities: - Prepare a full menu of North Indian and South Indian dishes during service hours - Manage the cooking section assigned to you (tandoor, gravy, dosa, or biryani) - Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and plating across all orders - Handle prep work in the morning before service begins - Coordinate with the kitchen helper team for ingredient stock and cleanup - Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook in a restaurant kitchen - Strong knowledge of at least one cuisine (North Indian, South Indian, or Chindian) - Comfortable working at high volume during peak meal hours - Good hygiene habits and ability to handle pressure - Available for split shifts (lunch and dinner service) Work timings: 11 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 11 PM, 6 days a week. Meal provided during shift.
